THE TOP TRICKS YOU NEED TO KNOW TO SURVIVE LOTTE WORLD in SEOUL, KOREA

1. Take advantage of your passport to get cheaper -swag- tickets. (For tourists)

I bet you didn't know your passport could also be used as a discount coupon! Just like Student & Senior ID's, while touring in another country always remember to ask if there are special discounts. This happens to be the case for Lotte World Tickets, just bring along your passport, line up at the special tourist booth near the main ticket entrance, and VOILA, you are 20 dollars richer. Which brings us to the next point, you also get 5 FREE MAGIC PASSES, wow. (we only managed to use 4, heh)

2. WHAT IS MAGIC PASS EXACTLY?

This is our 1 Day Pass.

It is the pass that will save your life, change your future, and show you true happiness... Just kidding, it's the Lotte World equivalent of the Disney Fast Pass albeit with some differences. Reserve time-specific tickets with these babies and you'll be guaranteed to save at least 30-60 minutes per ride. We recommend you to only spend these on the hottest rides.
Steps:

a. Download the "Lotte World Adventure" apps from apps store or google play store.

b. Scan your ticket's QR code with the app.

Once you scan the QR code, you will be able to reserve tickets through it, which means you can fight for the slots you want while in queue for other rides! This essentially means you're always on the fast lane, HAHAHAH FAST LANES ARE ALWAYS THE BEST! Do note however, reserved tickets are limited according to time, and you can only go for tickets within a few hours ahead of you. More slots will open every 15 or 30 minutes, so check frequently!

TIPS:

For example, if 1.30 p.m. is the time open for reserves, my advice is start reserving your desired ride at 1.29 p.m.because it will be too late if try to reserve even at 1.30 p.m. (The local Koreans are VERY competitive and often fight for the slots). You might need to wait another 15 or 30 minutes to try reserving the ride again. It's just like a competition, haha so chi gek right? (How likely you are on getting the passes depends on your trigger finger.)

3. So Many Rides, So Little Time.

Although Lotte World might not be a terrifyingly big park like Disney or Universal, there are still a lot of fairly interesting rides, also more importantly a denser crowd. So, expect to only be able to go on around 8-9 rides, assuming you spend your time efficiently. Before heading to Lotte World theme park, do some research! Read about the rides you want to go on, where they are at, and plan accordingly. Do not hesitate to try for other rides if the one you like has a massive queue, you could always try for the Magic Passes while going on rides with shorter queues. You've already traveled such a distance to Lotte World, Korea, don't leave with any regrets now!
